# Duo Voice

> Duo Voice is a native macOS dictation app. Press Fn twice and speak into any app on your Mac; Duo Voice transcribes your speech, cleans it up in real time — removing filler words, fixing grammar and punctuation, adding natural paragraphs — and types the result right where your cursor is.

Duo Voice works in every Mac app (Slack, Cursor, VS Code, Notion, Gmail, Mail, ChatGPT, Claude, and more) with no per-app setup. It supports a custom dictionary, custom instructions for tone and formatting, dozens of languages with automatic detection, and keeps dictation history locally on the user's device (nothing is stored on the server). Duo Voice is made by Duocross.
